Make Your Own Business Cards. Graphics using PicMonkey & Vistaprint. !!!

hello hello this is Melissa and today I'm gonna do a tutorial on how to make
your own business card I'm going to start from the very beginning from
clipart I'm going to go through creating a business card size traffic in Make Your Own Business Cards. Graphics using PicMonkey & Vistaprint. !!! PicMonkey dot com and then I'm gonna go over to Vistaprint and show you how to
upload your graphic into their business card section to make your own unique
card first i want to ask for a little a little patience because today as I'm
doing this tutorial and its january first the first day of the new year
we've had a busy couple we are on here with a couple of kids being a preschool
and I'm really just kinda tired and worked out so if I ramble little bit

the first thing I do is I go to two of my businesses on Etsy which are one is
an embroidery shop and other one is a digital shop and they both have named

make my own business part I started looking for
bumble bee clipart I think I actually typed in cute bumble bee clipart and it
came up
cute clipart I like to shop on Etsy because I have to the shops and I like
to support small businesses and other people who do have jobs on FB so I
bought this clip art and it comes with PNG bottles which are what you want
because they have a transparent background so when you use them for your
business cards or make a watermark or whatever you know that it has a
transparent background so I purchased this part it comes in a zip file you
download it right off right after purchase and then you unzip that file
and save the little each little individual picture to your computer each
of these is a different picture this me flying in his own little file to be
sitting on a leash is on file and another thing to check when you buy clip
art on Etsy you wanna be sure to read their policies are the way they want you
to use their clipart you don't want to buy something in you that in a way that
they wouldn't approve just like you would want to buy one of your digital
files or something like that and use it in a way that you would argue that
they're right here this seller says these graphics are intended for personal
and small business news please read the terms

other small business people just like you want to do right by you so check
that out and I think I even messaged this seller when I first bought and made
sure I could use them on business card and she said yeah so now you've got your

love it it's well worth it you don't have to have one you can do any basic
function that I'm going to show you with just the free website I think if it's

really smart and you know you want to use this in the future
quick on don't do anything yet and click on today go to a folder and your
computer and save it in a folder maybe what some of your other graphics that
you can see here that I have a bunch of business card with different things one
of them have my phone number on it whenever it doesn't but I have right
here biz card template so I don't have to remember any of those remember the
dimensions or anything when I want to make it a business card so this is the
fun part this is where you get to design whatever you want to be on your part
I'll give you a couple of tips when you upload into Vistaprint they cut off and
wat the edge of your card so I went in her stories I wouldn't go past may be
right here you wanna put all of your stuff in the towards the center of your
card because they do have like a danger zone where they're not going to print up
to the very edge of your part and 2 don't act on a teeny tiny felt like
Florence or if you have a right to your website make sure to find that people
can read remember older younger people people I mean you know you want your
fine and your arm you're late to your shop in your little logo if you have a
logo you want these to be legible to the people you're gaining a card too or

so here's the fun part there's a million places you can start if you want to
start with fire and you really want to put your name on it and see how that's
gonna look before you shop for your heart or your logos on their going on

graphics and clipart and just keep clicking you can click click on it and
you can do
backwards and forwards that is so great because you can do things that you did
you can only move around
layers I really wish you could save it with the layers so that you could come
back and change things later on which you can when you say that fucker in his
planned out and you can't change in evil but I keep suggesting it for them and I
hope one day they're going to do it so now I'll show you how to use the clip or

got some digital papers did your papers are a mean just prepare for you know on
the edge of your seat it's a paper that a digital file it's just a square that
have a designer pattern you can use it for backgrounds for like note card if
you print out for that Walgreens or make it as big as you are and look now it's

ok but look at again right click on it and I'm gonna clear it into back area go
and now I'm gonna add one of those cute be that I just bought from that XE shots
go to your own back to wherever you have here and I want belief
oh my goodness there's my baby isn't he adorable him right there don't get too
close to the backward one layer so he's not he didn't go all the way behind my
paper ok so obviously this is like the best party ever
well let's say that I'm finished I like the way it looks
I want to upload it to this different so you could say to my computer and I'm
gonna go over to where I business card and I'm gonna save it a new vid card
just to give you an example of something that took me about an hour longer here's
what I worked on this afternoon the back of my business my card business card has

can just hand out one and they can flip it and whichever shot with interest then

design and other one make sure your words are spelled right make sure you
have it misspelled your email or your name or something obvious you know that

into the system now it's just a matter of personal preference what cards are

want under no hurry so I do the chief I will give you a tip about this different
they i mean in my experience their way faster than their promoted times maybe
it depends on the time of the year that are ordered I don't know but I paid for
like two weeks processing and a week shipping and I got my cards in like
seven or eight days so it's just personal preference
you need them I want them if you're in no hurry to go with the chief bro
